  Marcia Clark, Founder of Shameless Promotions, LLC, has been a public relations consultant since 1997. She is a graduate of the Circle in the Square acting conservatory in New York, and was a professional actress and stand up comedian. In need of a change as well as a consistent pay check, she strolled away from the spotlight and moved to Westchester County, NY, in 1994. She worked as a PR consultant and producer for a number of arts organizations creating a first of its kind acoustic music series at The Schoolhouse Theater in Croton Falls, NY and was Director of Marketing responsible for booking talent at the national historic landmark, Paramount Center for the Performing Arts in Peekskill, NY. In 2002 she launched Shameless Promotions, LLC, a Public Relations and Communications company that provides full PR services to mid-size businesses, not-for-profits, luxury retail and arts organizations. As a writer she has been featured in The New York Times, Hudson Valley Magazine, Business LI Magazine, Westchester Magazine, The Record Review, The Westchester and Fairfield County Times, Nursing Spectrum, and The WorldWit Newsletter. In addition, she has helped to develop and write newsletters and annual reports for the Weill Cornell Medical Center, the Ossining Children’s Center, Hudson Valley Hospital and Open Door Family Medical Centers.
